EORECAST FOR UNION TOWN AND

The geqeral outlook for the town of
Fnion and county it not very favorble

j me at present, xne crops win oe
msiderably damaged by wind and
kin; the fruit will be cut off; there
ill be fairly good crops of corn made;
rain will be better than cottoc; cot>n
will be damaged in some way; the
ifest crop for this year will be grain,
'he entire crop season will be under
)me difficult condition most of the
jason.
I see for your town a strange and
nexpected happening, seems like a
lurder, death or a tragedy. It ma;
ome the latter part of this year. (I
incerely hope it may not occur at all.)
low as to the financial conditions foi
be beautiful sunny town of Union ;
'here will be some new enterprises
)me failures among some old businesc
oncerns; but I eee more good tbnc
vil for Union. Some of the business
oncerns which are now in sime way
iatfesied over money matters will
traighten up and go on successfully
Your milling conditons will not be
> good there seems to me some trouble
i or about the mill - district that will
ot be favorable. There will quite
kely come to your town or county
)me new settlers who will add to the
rowth and development. They may

Jnion, S. CM some very valuable ore
hat will in time make Uuion County
eople very rich at no very distant day
s I write I appear to see some activij
among the people and there apears
to be a great amount of gold,
t may be a mine of gold; it also
lems to be near a stream of water,
n time to come tho County of Union
ill surely be a seat of success and
rosperity. This last statement does
ot apply to this year, 1903, alooe
ut I do feel that some investigations
lis year will lead to this great disovery.
There will be some office made vault
thisyear by death or failing
ealth. Thete will be a good'deal of
ickness in the town and county from
iver and some rather contagious disase
but not a great many deaths, ic
ict the death rate from disease will
? very much less than usual. The
cople of Union will do well to watch
be Weather predictions of some'good
strologer, such as Irl R. Hicks, ho is
ery accurate in his weather forecasts,
s this will be a year of much electrial
disturbances; there may be man;
eavy storms, much wind aud water.
Now allow me to say a few words to
tie wise regarding the coming Presiential
election. My view is Demo
ratic, yet I feel there are some planks
1 the Republican platform that are
ery good and will be aud is now
ood for our country, yet I se3 Damcrat

lere will be some very unpleasant
vents in the coming times. In a
ision of which I will give you a few
ords I saw for our country anarch*
ts. I saw in one part of the vision
le fires a great fire, I saw money
urning up. I then saw the treasury
t Washington, on fire, it is set on
re by a very treacherous hand. 1
ave very grave fears for our country,
here appears to me some dark deeds
only hope my vision may prove unue
and my fears unfounded. There
lay be very large and destructive
res in many places. There seems to
a a general wave of evil, and our
eople will have t? fight hard to overtmn
