One tract in Bogansville township, r
the Meansville place, 188 acre9 alto- ^
gether, sold to'S. M. Gil more for

mortgage and writton consent 11^
acres in Union, bid off by Jdo. R.
Mathis for if'.>15, was afterwards resold
by mortgagee's attofney, who claimed
that the Sheriff had no right to sell
it in his the attorneys absence. The
ShorilT and his son states they were
told to sel 1 it and no instructions as
to waiting for tho atterney or any one
also's presence were given. The attorney
however had it resold and the
mortgagee bid it in through his attorney
for $17">. Whoso purchase
should hold the property?
The Master sold tho Crawford
stables property, first in bulk. It
was bid off by Mr. C. E. Lipscomb at
f 1,010. It was then sold in lots and
lot 27 >. 1, corner of Bachelor and
Sharp Alloy, was hid off by Mr. C. E.
Lipscomb for .$l,f>03, lot No. 2, or
stable lot was bid off by Crawford &
Aycock for $1,505, and the first sale
did not hold.
A lot in Goshen Hill township of
!>0 acres was sold for ?100 to Crawford
and Aycock.
