this? Besides this tine crop of turnips
Mr. Johns has cabbage in his patch that ;

At I;o0 Tuesday Milon Hicks, while
decending one of the telephone poles in
front of Tub Times cfllce, missed his
footing by Ms spur failing to catch in
a rotten place in the pole and be came
down the pole like lightning. He bad
presence of mind to keep his arms around
the pole and landed upon his feet. H?
was considerably jarred by the fall, but
Dr. Sarratt examined his feet and. <
pronounced no bones broken. He was
walking abxtt in a few minutes.
