It would not be very much trouble,
you know, to step down to the office
and wait till we translated it into
English and dished it out to you.
Fnnny the merchants don't adopt
the scheme and put their advertisements
in cipher, it might attract a
great number to their store who
would wait patiently until the hieroglyphics
could be figured out so they

A Good Sermon.
Rev. T. E. Morris of the First
Methodist church preached a very
interesting and instructive sermon
in his church Sunday morning on the
text, "Now is the harvest time." He
showed very plainly how the workerswere,
many of them, losing golden
opportunities by waiting for a more
convenient season, or for what they
considered the harvest time. This
sermon lead up to the announcement
that a protracted meeting would begin
in this church Monday of this
week and the members were earnestly
requested to lend their aid and influence,
that a harvest of souls may result
from this meeting. After the
sermon the sacrament of the Lord's
Supper was administered. It seemed
from the earnest faces of the congregation
that the spirit was present,
and we hope tho seed was sown that
will bring forth abundant fruit during
the meeting.
