Mr. Lee Wash Floyd, of Newberry, | has purchased the Union Telephone, while the transfer was not made public until last Monday, we wero aware of the fact that negotiations were made and possibly a sale effected moro than a mouth ago, but knowing that the parties interested were endeavoring to keep tho matter from the public, we did not think it bocoming to make it public under the circumstances. We will say for Mr. j Floyd, that we knew him, and can say that ho is a business man and a I hustler, ho is very popular in'his home town, Newberry, and is largely interested in the telephone business, owning several lines. The people of s, Union will like Wash Floyd.
