A Pleasant Occasion.
A very pleasant little social affair was
had at the home of Mis 1{. W. Tins'ey ?
Tuesday evening, in the natuic of a (
moonlight pic nic, which she gave in n
honor of the visit of her little grand
daughter, Miss Annie May Pryor, of |
villain, ?^uue ;i mimuer or children
#were invited. They all came with tlieir a
hiskets, and the out door ammement
Iregan at once. The tabl* was spread (
later in the yard, but just about the time ''
everything was ready a shower of rain
came up, everything had to lie hustled
into the house, and tlie pic nic delicacies
were enjoyed by lamp light instead of by xv
moonlight. The children enjoyed the ,,
evening to the fullest extent, notwilh- y
standing their forced conliuement indoors
by the rain. All the games played upon
such occasions were enjoyed and some u
of them furnished considerable amuse- ai
rnent to all present. Music both vocal ct
and instrumental was a sjiecial featuie
of the occasion. Lemonade was furnish- *'
eu with the refreshments. The evening ca
was one of all-rout.d enjoyment to the 'lc
