A resolution endorsing the State administration was presented aud reierrod to the committee on resolutions. Tho oonvontion's action as to the prohibition movement and the disponsaiy law is embraced in the following, which was everything adopted dm the subject: "i hat we pledge tho Democratic party to a continued support of tho dispensary law a-i the host solution of tho iiquor question and call upon ail lovers of temperance aud good order to hold up tho hands of our public servants in their ellorts to administer it iu tho interest of morality, good conduct and prosperity." On motion of Mr. Melbovn a committee on credoutials was appointed to decide tho Darlington contest. The committee recommended that neither of tho delegates be seated.
