came down upon us this morning in full
force, and while we write it is snowing
right heavily.
Fear is entertained aliout the fruit
crop, though scientists claim that should
the trees not bloom until after the dark
nights in March that that is indicative
of an abundant yield of fruit.
Mrs. II. F. McDowell died the l.'ltlt
of this month at her home in this place
after a long illness, and was buried oil
Sunday following in the Methodist Cemetery.

conducted the funeral services. She
leaves a sorrowing htisliand, one married
daughter and three sons to mourn her
