prevented him attending close enough

the otlicers were elected, which
resulted iu the e cct.ou ol new ones except
the Secretary, who was re elected, to wit:
IVosnlent, W. 15. Crosby; Vice 1'iesidcnt,
W. C. 0. Humphries: Secretary, E. W.
Jeter; Treasurer, J. A. Sawyer; all young
men.
A resolution war adopted retaining the
Comuiitte on l'rograin 'or uu entire year,
in order that they uiuy have ample tiuie to
arrange good subjects for discussion. The
committee now stands, Kev. J. N Booth,
Bee. W. E. G. Humphries, and K. G. Gregory.
The Convention was composed of delegates
from only twelve schools anl there
were not very iuauy delegutcs, but it was
one of the best conveutious on record.
