one of Sumter's most attractive young
ladies. The groom, though a recent

yesterday morning for Asheville where

A Death at Lynchburg.

Arm Cut by Saw.
Mr. W. L. Osteen of Privateer, met
with a very poinful and perhaps ser?
ious accident last Friday afternoon
while at work around his saw mill.
A swinging butting saw came in
contact with the back of his right
elbow making an ugly gash and open?
ing the joint. The bones were not
seriously injured and it is hoped that
he will not lose the use of his arm.
