Mrs Marz tret R. Saoders died et her home
oa Republican Street et *> 30 o'clock Moo
day afternoon, after a long end painful
illness. Her maiden name was Marvin,
and ehe vat born in Beaufort County,
July 2?, 1831, and on June 5, 1850 was mar?
ried to Jamei H. Sanders, also of Beaufort
County, who died some years ago. She
leaves seven cbi drso.
She was a member of tbe Methodist Cborcb
aid a Christian of the siccerest type, whose
exemplary life was filled with gnod deeds and
was a powerful influence for good where
aver she was knowo.
The faneral services were held in tbe First
Methodist Cborcb at 5 o'clock yesterday

Mr. Frank MoOeskill of Carters Crossiog,

Tuesday, morning Sept. 4th. Be was in usual
health on retiring, and did his regolar work
the day before. Cause of death not known,

trouble for several years. So far as beard,
no ioqoest was held. He leaves a wife hot
