Two Golden Weddings in One
Family.
Rev. Von A. Riser, attended the golden
wedding of bis grandfather and grandmother
ou his mother's side," February 28, at Lees?
ville, S C. About 8 years ago he attended
the golden wedding ot bis graodpareots on
bia father's aide, de is the oldeat grandchild
on both sides. On his mother's side there
are 36 graadcbildren, aod oo his father's
about 30. At this golden wedding, February
28tb, the grandchildren presented a gold
loving cup to the aged couple. This cup waa
used on this occasion as a baptismal font tor
the baptising of two graodchildren and one
great-graodchiid for whom the grandparents,
stood sponsors.

Notice is hereby given that io accordaace
with aa Act ot the General Assembly, and in
conformity with the requirements of the State
Constitution, tbe books for the registration
of all legally qualified voters, ai:d for the
issuing of transiers, e'e,, will bc open at the
office of Supervisors of Registration in the
court boose, between tbe bours of 9 o'clock
a m . and 3 o'clock p. m., on the bretMon
day of each mooth, until thirty days before
the next generw! election. Minors who shall
become ot age during that period of thirty
days shall be entitled to registratioo nefore
logbooks are closed, if otherwise qualified.
The requiremeots tor a qualified voter are
that the applicant for registration shall be
abie to read and write correctly, or possess
in his owo name property io the amoant of
three hundred dollars, upon which he paya
