The Board of Health held a special meeting on the 28th of Dec. to dise?as tbe smallpox situation and decide as to the advisability of taking measures to enforce a general vaccina? tion ot everybody in the city. The situation WHS fully discussed and it was decided that the danger of au outbreak of smallpox was not imminent and that the situation did not warrant the Board to take measures at this time that would levy a heavy expanse upon the city.
