Mr. W. . Alford, an accomplished and
energetic young man of Marion County, and
also a graduate of the Marion Graded School,
is teaching at Enterprise High School in this
county, near the Kershaw line. The patrons
are well pleased with Mr. Alford's excellence

complishments and will be admired for bis
sobriety and good qualities wherever be goes

ers in the county, \lr. J. B. Holler, a young
man of Edgefield County who recentlv
graduated at Wc ff tri College. Mr. Holler's
good traits as a man, and excellent qualifica
tions as a teacher are not all the earthly

the life of a hunter, and a fine marksman he
is.
Miss McCutehen, of Bishopville, will begin
teachiug near Stnithrille in the ueur future.

of the Weekly Constitution, published at
Atlanta, Ga. The Constitution has the largest
onruber of subscribers of any weekly news
papers published in the world, now having
more than 156,000 regular weekly subscrib?-rs.
It wants 200,000, and we commend it to our
readers. No paper has done more for the up
building o? the agricultural interests of the
South than the Constitution, it has worked
for years for the agricultural development of
this section and for the betterment of the con
dition of the farmers.
With recent improvements and additional
facilities the Constitution is 'now a better
newspaper than ever, and is in a position to
push with increased vigor its magnificent
work for !he agricultural development*-*'-'' ine
