The totol rote for Governor Ti?rtaao in the ]
?r?cent State election (Beaufort excepted) is
?55,989 Dr Bates ran ahead of the State
nicket, receiving 58,072 votes.
The board of Federal commissioners
decried to thro ont the votes of the boxes at
3?astorer and Gadsden for irregularities. .The
boxes were not opened at the legal boars, and
there were other irregularities. The Congres
sional rote at these precincts was:
Eastover?Moise 35, Murray 180.
Gadsden?Moi*e50, M array 193.
This diff?rence will be of material assistance
*to Gen. Moise, and there is every indication
?thatbewtll receive the certificate from the
board.
