something about the way ?hey ?treat
tee dead in this country. When in
the-country a person dies they are laid
"'out simply, but in no coffin, they are
then rapped in a strong, cloth which is
fastened, fnll length to .a strong pole.
When ready to start to the place of
burial a man- at ???h . end of the pole
^starts ce a fast- swinging walk, while
a dozen others go atong to chance places
vvith- these two bearing the corpse,
which they do without ever stopping.
Yery often they , make some kind of

are not 'permitted to bary outside of
