The Williamsburg Society met in ' the courthouse Tuesday evening, December 20th, and organized, electing the following officers for the year: President, S. A. Graham; Vice-president, P. H. The charter membership roll was dosed at this meeting. The Committee on Organization, appointed sometime ago, asked until the next meeting to submit the proposed Constitution and By-Laws. The Committee was instructed to name the organization "The Williamsburg Society" and to express as its purpose "the study of the history of Williamsburg county in particular and of South Carolina in general, and the collect <"on and preser ation of historical r aterial," in the Constitution.
