" * The Baptist Southeast association met here Tuesday. A good attendance was present and the meeting was a highly enjoyable occasion. Nexscn celebrated his 5th anniversary with a Balloon party, at ^ his home near town. The host sent - in for his guests, in a large hay _ - wagon. The entire lower floor of the j > Nexsen home was decorated with balloons, and each guest was given a balloon as a souvenir of the happy j occasion. LEWIS DISHER SHOT DEAD IN SWAMP YAS THERE WITH HIS BROTHER LOOKING FOR HOGS WHEN MURDERED. Lewis Disher, a farmer, about 40 rears of age, who with his brother vas ia the swamp looker after their logs last Friday morning, was shot ind killed in the Mouzon section of ;his county by an unknown party who s su posed to have been in the swamp ryin : to steal hogs. The dead bodily Mr. Disher was found lying near 1 hog that had been killed only a ihcrt time. He was separated from lis brother, who heard a shot fired n the vicinity where he supposed his irotlier to be, and knowing that his irothor was without a gun he hur ied to the place where he heard the ;hot. There he found his brother dead ind nearby was a dead hcg, still warm ndicating that it had just been killed.
