In Re: Election on the Issue of J
Bonds for the purpose of Enlarging
and extending the Waterworks Sys- j
tem of the Town of Kingstree, in *
the County of Williamsburg, State J
of South Carolina.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by a '
majority of the freeholders of the 1
Town of Kingstree, as shown by the 1
tax-books of said Town, has been presented
to and filed with the town
Council thereof, asking that an elec- 1
tion be ordered submitting to the j
qualified registered electors of said '
Town the question of issuing Bonds of ;
said Town in an amount not exceeding
the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand
(25,OOOjOO) Dollars for the purpose of <
enlarging and extending the water- *
works system therein; and
WHEREAS, the said Town Council ,
of said Town of Kingstree, pursuant
to said petition, did, by resolution
approved and adopted in Council assembled
on the 7th day of March. A.
D. 1921, order an election to be held
at the County Court House in said
Town of Kingstree on Tuesday, the
29th dav of March, 1921, lor the pur- ~
pose of submitting to the qualified t
registered electors of said Town of

C. Jacobs and Harry Britton were appointed
Managers of Election to hold
and conduct said election as required
by law:

HEREBY GIVEN, That pursuant to
said petition and resolution, an election
will be held and conducted at the
County Court House in the said Town
of Kingstroe, on Tuesday, the 29 th
day of March, A. D. 1921, for the
purpose of submitting to the qualified
registered electors of said town
the question of issuing Bonds of said
Town to the amount of Twenty-Five
Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars for the
purpose of enlarging and extending
the waterworks system therein; that
S. B. McGill, T. C. Jacobs and Harry
Britton have been by said Town
Council appointed Managers of
said Election, to hold and conduct
said Election; that, for the purpose
of said election, the polls shall be opened
at eight o'clock in the forenoon
and closed at four o'clock in the af
ternoon of said day; that said election k
will be held and conducted pursuant
to and in accordance with the laws J

and adopted in Council assembled
on the 7th day of March, A.
D. 1921, order an election to be held
at the County Court House in said
Town of Kingstree on Tuesday, the
