NOTICE OF ELECTION. STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. County of Williamsburg, TOWN OF KINGSTREE. In Re: Election on the Issue of - Bonds for the purpose of Enlarging and extending the Waterworks System of the Town of Kingstree, in the County of Williamsburg, State of South Carolina. WHEREAS, a petition signed by a majority of the freeholders of the Town of Kingstree, as shown by the tax-books of said Town, has been presented to and filed with the town Council thereof, asking that an election be ordered submitting to the qualified registered electors of said Town the question of issuing Bonds of said Town in an amount not exceeding the sum of Twenty-Five Thousand /Or AAA AAV H/vl 1 r* r.-? fVtn nnrnncfi rtf \60?WV.WJ iA/lloio ivi viiv put j/v^v v* enlarging and extending the waterworks system therein; and WHEREAS, the said Town Cour.cii of said Town of Kingstree, pursuant to said petition, did, by resolution approved and adopted In Council assembled on the 7th day of March. A. D. 1921, order an election to be held at the County Court house in said Town of Kingstree on Tuesday, the 29th day of March, 1921, for the purDose of submitting: to the qualified registered electors of said Town of Kingstree the question of issuing bonds of said Town in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of enlarging and extending the waterworks system therein, by which said resolution approved and rdopted as aforesaid it was further ordered that, for the purpose of said election, the polls shall be opened at eight o'clock in the forenoon and closed at four o'clock in the afternoon of said day, and by which said resolution S. B. McGill, T. C. Jacobs and Harry Britton were appointed Managers of Election to hold and conduct said election as required by law: NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That pursuant to said petition and resolution, an election will be held and conducted at the County Court House in the said Town of Kingstree, on Tuesday, the 29th I day of March, A. D. 1921, for the] purpose of submitting to thfe qualified registered electors of said town the question of issuing Bonds of said Town to the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars for the Twinv.ce nf enlarcn'nc and extending v* O?O the waterworks system therein: that S. B. McGill, T. C. Jacobs and Harry Britton have been by said Town y Council appointed Managers of said Election, to hold and conduct said Election; that, for the purpose of said election, the polls shall be opened at eight o'clock in the forenoon and closed at four o'clock in the afternoon of said day; that said election will be held and conducted pursuant to and in accordance with the iaws now of force governing and regulating such elections; and at such election the qualified registered electors of said Town of Kingstree and those qualified to vote at said election may vote "FOR Bonds to the Amount of Twenty-Five Thousand (25,000.0?) Dollars for the Enlargement and Extention of the Waterworks System," or "AGAINST Bonds to the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand ($25,000,00) Dollars fur the Enlargement and Extension of the Waterworks System." WHEREAS, a petition signed by a majority of the free-holders of the Town of Kingstree, as shown by the tax-books of said Town, has been presented to and filed with the Town Council thereof, asking that an election be ordered submitting to the qualified registered electors of said Town the question of issuing Bonds of said Town in an amount not exceeding the sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand ($160,000.00) Dollars for the improvement of streets and sidewalks therein; and WHEREAS, the said Town Council of said Town of Kingstree, pursuant to said petition, did, by resolution approved and adopted in Council assembled on the 7th day of March, A. D. 1921, order an election to be held at the County Court House in said Town of Kingstree on Tuesday, the 29th day of March, 1921, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified registered electors of said Town of Kingstree, the question of- issuing Bonds of said Town in the amount of One Hundred Sixty Thousand ($160,000.00) Dollars for the improvement of streets and sidewalks therein, by which said resolution approved and adopted as aforesaid it was further ordered that, for the purpose of said election, the polls shall be opened at eight o'clock in the forenoon and closed at four o'clock in the afternoon of said day, and by which said resolution W.
