| OUR COUNTY JAIL.
Report on the Sixth Inspection by
Assistant Secretary Brearley. i

The Williamsburg county jail is badly
in need of general repairs. The
walls are scaling off and should be
kalsomined and the steel work is being
badly rusted for lack of paint.
The county commissioners are to be
commended for their plans for doing ,
this renovating in the near future; j
they had already had a man look over .
the building for the purpose of mak- |
ing an estimate of the cost. f
Some of the needs of the institution
are: more frequent washing of
the blankets; the regular practice of
