Not After Tobacco ,
Atlanta, Nov. 18.?Official denial
that the Anti-Saloon League intends
to go after tobacco next was made .
today at Southeastern headquarters
of the campaign for law enforcement. <
A statement says in part: I
"We are not considering and we
do not intend to consider any kind of
a fight against the cigarette or any
other form of tobacco, and we are
not allied with any such movement.
We are going to nave all we can do
in the ZVfxt few years to secure enforcejflfct
of national prohibition and
in the direction of our aim to make!
the world bone dry."

next," added Dr. C. W. Jones, superintendent
of the Georgia Department i

the contrary we are entering upon {

"Everything indicates that the
liquor interests have no purpose of;
abandoning their fight to keep their;

be assisted and upheld.
"However, it is no part of the lea-1
gue's purpose to convert the organi- i
zation into a detective agency. We j
believe that mei eiected or appointed
to office are the ones properly charg-j
ed with enforcement and that loyal
citizens should back them up in en

life if they fail to do their duty.
