Kun, virtual dictator of the old Hun- j
garian Soviet Government and the j
fight he made almost alone to main- j
tain the oower that had caused the ,
Allies so much trouble for months,
is described in dispatches received I
here today by refugees from Buda- j
pest.
Final action in upsetting the Com- 1
munist Government took place on
I^riday at the meeting of the central
council of Revolutionary Workmen
and soldiers at Budapest. Soltan Ro- |
nay, farmer minister of justice, an- j
nounced the government's resigna- j
tion. He explained that the dictator- j
ship of Bela Kun, effective March !
3, was based on three assumptions, j
namely: World revolution, military j
aid from the Russian Soviet and the
Hungarian proletariat's capacity for |
self-sacrifice. These conditions, he 1
said, had not been fulfilled.
Bela Kun then appeared before the j
