Pine Bark Stew Tuesday
Mr. IJ. J. Kpps gave another of
| his famous pine bark fish stews up
; the river Tuesday, and we consider
it a fortunate event for those present,

Mr. Jno. button, the lot and old
frame building situate on Main
-treet at the Northeast corner of
court house square. The present
building, while practically worthless,
is an old landmark and has served
as a domicile for various enterprises,
and was the birth place of The County
Record in 1885, we understand.
Rut this building will be torn down
and a modern law office erected on
the site by the new owners. The i
proximity of the location to the
court house and jail (since it is true
that lawyers have to go to jail sometimes?to
visit prisoner-clients) make
it a most desirable one, and Messrs. j
Stoll and O'Bryan are to be congratllated
unon their acousition of the I
property as a site for an office1
