Mrs W G Gamble was appointed chairman of the Committee on Extension Work, members of which fire to be named by herself. The committee appointed to secure a workroom and meeting place for the local chapter has two very desirable places in view, the Masonic Lodge room and the town hall. As soon as the Masons and town council hold their next regular meeting the committee will be advised as to whether the chapter will be allowed to use either or both of these rooms. During the recent membership drive and since, over 300 white and 13 colored members have been enrolled here; at Johnsonville, 200; at Greelyvilie, 104 white and 51 colored. At each of these places independent chapters will be organized, and a delegation from the local chapter, has already been invited to Greely- j will? to assist, in thp ortranization of i a chapter. It is not possible to give, at this ; time, the entire enrollment in the county in this great and good cause. Car ol Horses & Mules Monday.'
