Baggett's Novel Sale.
The auction sale which opened
last Wendesday and is being conducted
for T. E. Baggett, jeweler,
by special salesman J. T. Anderson,
has attracted considerable attention
during the past week among the

townspeople, especially ine lauies.
A sale of this kind is somewhat of a
novelty in Kingstree, and provides
an opportunity for the fair sex to get
silverware, cut glass, bric-a-brac,
and jewelry for personal adornment
at their own price. Of course, if
one of them should overbid her husband,
it's her own concern and no
one should feel the right to criticise
her good judgment.
Mr Baggett requests us to say
that he is not conducting this sale

has adopted this method of reducing
some of his lines to make room for
a full line of newer goods, including
a large assortment of Christmas
jewelry and novelties.
The auction sales open daily at 4
and 8:00 p. m. and in no way interfere
with the repair and optical departments
of Mr Baggett's business.
