Dixon Says He Was So Weak and Nerv-:'

IE SUFFERED FOR YEARS. ]
iays He Thinks Tanlac "Finest Remedy
in the World" to Purify and
Strengthen Anyone.
Because of the hardship he was
orced to endure during the four
rears lie was a soldier for the United
states army during the Civil war,
Mr ii F Dix<?n of Converse, S C, R
F 1) 1, a suburb of Spartanburg,
says, in a statement given August 7,
;hat his health was undermined and
:hat he never really enjoyed good
health after the war was ended.
Mr Dixon wa< wounded six times <
y his then Southern enemies,sever- ,
x\ times seriously. But his health
aow is better than it has been in a '
long time.be says,and lie gives Tan- '
ac. "the master medicine", credit
or bringing about the great change
n his condition.
Mr Dixon took just two bottles,
lie says, and he gained eleven pounds. |
dis statement follows:
"l TYirtieularle from

"toinach trouble. I had almost completely
lost my appetite and I was
just worn down. I am SO years of 1
ige.and I had lost so much strength
:hat I staggered when I walked.
\lso I had lost considerable weight 1
ind I was very nervous. My condition
finally became so bad and ray
serves were so disturbed that I could
not sleep well and I would lie for
hours in bed before I could get to
sleep.
"Rheumatism also caused me considerable
pain, and, besides these
pains, I suffered considerably with
prampy pains. My nerves were so
bad and ray strength so little that I
pould hardly write my name.
"I had suffered with these troubles
for years?I don't know just
how long. Finally I heard about
Tanlac and began to re^d the advertisements, and
later I decided to take
it.
"I bought the first bottle and it
iid not seem to help me much. The
reason of that, I know, was because
[ was in such bad shape. But I had
faith in it and bought the second
bottle, and that was the bottle which
?ave me wonderful results. 1
"The relief the two bottles of
ranlac gave me was as follows: I
yoinpd 11 nnnnds in weicrht.. and
that certainly is a lot for a man of
>0 years to gain. Tanlac relieved
my sleeplessness and I got to where
[ could sleep almost like a dead person.
It gave me a great appetite
ind I was soon eating three square
meals a day. It broke lip my stomich
trouble, and I gained a great
leal of strength. That shortness of
wreath left me, and my nerves were
luieted and strengthened. I do not
suffer with rheumatism now, either.
"I think Tanlac is the hnest remedy
in the world to renovate anyone's
system and to build it up.
Ianlac is good?there can't be any
oetter, I think. I am certainly glad
:o recommend Tanlac, for it is an
jxtraordinarily good medicine, and
[ know from my experience that it
s good for all that it is claimed to
be. I have tried it and'I know what
t will do. If I ever need medicine
igain, I certainly will take more
Ianlac."

WEARS ON THE KIDNEYS.

Doan's Kidney Pills Have Done Greal
Service for People Who Work
in Kingslree.
Many Kingstree people work every
day in some strained,unnatural position?bending
constantly over a desk
?riding on jolting wagons or cars?
doing laborious housework; lifting,
reaching or pulling, or trying the
back in a hundred and one other
ways. All these strains tend to wear,
weaken and injure the kidneys until
they fall behind in their work of filtering
the poisons from the blood.
Doan's Kidney Pills are for weak
kidneys and bad backs. Their effective
work is convincing proof of merit.
C R Rutledge, engineer, ACL
R R, 212 S Gaillard St, Florence, S
C, says: "The jar and jolt of the engine
caused my back to ache, and my
kidneys to get out of order. I was
sore and lame at times. The kidney
secretions passed irregularly, i aiso |
had symptoms of kidney troubl^. 11
finally used Doan's Kidney Pills and !
they relieved me."
Price 50c, at all dealers. Don't

DRIVING OUT CATARRH
If people knew how the presence
of catarrh Is a constant menace,
they would have none of It It
Infests some part of the delicately
adjusted body and makes It useless,
thus throwing: on the other organs !
more than their share of work. It |
affords a carefully prepared seed- [
bed for the germs of "colds, grip,
tuberculosis and pneumonia. It so
disarranges Nature's delicate plans
as to make possible asthma, hay
fever and other respiratory disorders.
It spreads until It becomes
systemic, thus Involving many organs
and debilitating the entire
system with serious results.
Catarrh Is easily neglected, and
It rarely gets well or Itself. It
needs proper medicinal correction.
For almost half a century many
thousands have found help In Peruna,
a valuable tonic with special
efficacy In catarrhal conditions.
The aim Is to clean out waste matter.
to dispel the catarrhal Inflammation,
and tone up the whole system.
Its users willingly testify
that It has done all this and even
more for catarrhal sufferers. What
It has done Is the best proof of
what it will do. You may rely on
Peruna.
