Mr P D Snowden has just invested in a new Ford touring car. If this proves to be a successful year for the planters, we predict that a good number here will buy automobiles in the fall. The play that was presented at Indiantown Graded school Friday night by Cades local talent, was a credit to the performers in every respect. They did not fail to entertain their audience from start to finish. The play was entitled, "Dot, the Miner's Daughter." We cannot give cast of characters, but suffice to sav that each played his part well. Miss Marguerite Snowden is on a visit to her sister, Mrs W C Rogers, at Dunbarton. Mr9 Fraser of Graham, Va, is the guest of her sister here, Mrs W R Graham. Mr De Treville of Columbia and Miss ? Gelser of Orangeburg have arrived to take the places in the Indiantown school of the two teachers who have resigned. Little Jennie Louise Ervin, the four-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs S J Ervin, whose tongue was seriously cut in a fall, was operated on at Riverside Infirmary in Charleston January 6, and is doing splendidly. The wound required five Btitches, but has healed nicely and the little one is out of danger. Rev and Mrs W R Pritchett motored through the country to their former home, Ridgeway, recently, where they spent several days. Dr and Mrs Emmerson Cooper and little daughter of Water Valley.
