Indlantown Demonstration Club.
Doing an entirely different line of
work under the direction of Miss
Amanda Edwards, home demonstration
agent of Williamsburg county,
the Mothers' club, which had been
disbanded for the summer months,
reorganized Sa:u day, October 9, at
the home of Mrs W W Barr. Miss
Edwards was present and gave an
outline of the work to be done. This i
work is what all up-to-date young
ladies are interested in and learning
to do; if not at college, in some
shorter summer course. Now, do
* not let our daughters get ahead of
us; let us all rally to this work and
keep up with the new methods, new
ideas and new devices of the time.
Do not let us be "old fogies".
* Miss Edwards will meet with the
club as often as possible ana win
give interesting demonstrations.
The club will be known in her department
as "The Indiantown Demonstration
club". The program for
the year is a most interesting one
and the work such as any enlightened
woman will be glad to do and
show an interest in.
The meetings will be held the first
I Saturday afternoon in each month at
3 o'clock, the next meeting being at
the home of Mrs W D Daniel. All
the ladies of the entire community
are urged to attend. There are no
dues expected.nothing but the interest
which it is in your power to
arouse if you haven't it already, and
which you will not admit you are
too antiquated to have. Now, will

exempted by law, to a poll tax of $1.00,
also to a commutation tax of $2.00.
Levy for special school districts is as
follows:

Upon ail unpaid taxes alter December
31 a penalty of 1% will be added
for January, 1% for February and 5% {
to 15th day of March next, after which
the books will be closed and executions
issued upon all unpaid taxes.
Those who desire to pay their taxes J
through the mail may expedite matters.^^
by dropping the Treasurer a card asking
for the amount of their taxes, so as to
avoid sending the wrong amount, also
slating the township or townships (if
property is owned in more than one)
and if possible give school district where
property is located. After paying taxes
examine your receipts and see if all
your property is covered; if not, see
abodt it at once.
