Died, at her residence in Kingstree, S C, August 11, 1914, Netta Louise Hirsch, relict of the late M J Hirsch. v 111 health compelled Mrs Hirsch to withdraw herself from the public and maintain the privacy of her own home for several years preceding her death. There in the delightful seclusion of a well regulated house, attended lovingly by her devoted children, she practiced those beautiful traits of character and womanly virtues which preserve her name in affectionate memory by the citizens of this town. She had always "a hand open as day for meeting charity," and there was never a family in this town in-sickness, want or adversity who did not know and feel her gentle ministrations. Notice is hereby given that a primary election will be held in the town of Kingstree, South Carolina, for the nomination of an Intendant and six (6) Aldermen to serve the said town for a period of two years; also for the nomination of one Water-Works Commissioner, to serve the said town for a period of four years. Kingstree Wins all Three Games , Kingstree proved too strong for the aggregation representing Florence Saturday and won the game by y a final score of 11 to 2. Buck Flowers pitched^a good game for Florence and would have won but for the rotten errors of Sheep O'Neal at short and Stewart at third. These s two players seemed to have an off day. Kingstree played jpm up ball, hit in the pinches, ran bases well and supported their pitcher who was hit hard. The Kingstree team is by far the best all around ball team which has played on the local diamond this year.?Florence Times, Important Demonstration Work.
