things are sometimes hard to realize,

This world's a stage and we, the J"

We have our entrances and our exits,

And for what can anyone tell? No,

Rev Robett Lee Holroyd, a
rominent minister of the South
arolina Methodist conference, and
former resident of Kingstree and

Elder of the Kingstree district,
ied at his home in Rock Hill Sunay
from an attack of pneumonia,
fr Holroyd wes born in West Virinia
in 1863. He had been a mem?r
of the South Carolina conferlce
of the Methodist church many
?ars preceding his death, and had
?en in charge of some of the
rgest churches in the State under
le jurisdiction of the Methodist
inference. He was an able preach*,
a sympathetic friend and an
irnest worker in the cause of
hristianity. Mr Holroyd's death
ill be deeply regretted by his large
rcle of friends and acquaintances i
i Williamsburg county.
The deceased is survived by a
idow and five sons. The funeral
rvices were held at Rock Hill at
L o'clock Monday morning.
