Tuesday evenrng when Miss Alice
Mispah McConnell and Mr Charles
Ar-thur McCrea were united in the
holy bonds of wedlock in the presence
of a few intimate friends and
relatives. The bride is one of Kingstree's
charming and most popular
young ladies, having been employed
here for a number of years as
a saleslady by Mrs S Marcus.
The groom is a deservedly popular
young man, a grandson of Mrs C M

at Lake City, where the happy
couple will be at home after June 25,
The bride was becomingly gowned
in a traveling suit of Copenhager
blue with hat and gloves to match
and never appeared more charming
to her intimate friends. Immediately
after the ceremony, performed
by Rev P S McChesney. the couple
boarded train No 89 for the
South, where they will spend a short
honeymoon before returning to Lake
City. At the depot the popularity
of the young couple was attested by
the large number of friends who
gathered to see them off and wish
them God speed.
Those present at the marriage
were: Mrs C M Chandler, Lake City;
Miss Nettie Burgess, Mouzons; Miss
Mellie and Mr Durant McConnell,
sister and brother of the bride, Taft;
Misses Mary and Ruth Nettles, Mrs
J D Britton and Mr W W Holliday,

The Record heartily joins the
many friends of this young couple
in extending congratulations and
wishing them a long life of happiness.
