Spring lingering in the lap of
_ winter reminds us of the observa'
tion of an old gentleman of this
: onuntv. once our neighbor, anent
: the poetic sentiment. "Well, Cousin
[ Alec, (in those days we were all
cousins, at least) spring seems to be
lingering in the lap of winter,"
! quoted the young collegian. "Cousin
; Alec" (who would have passed for
an understudy of "Uncle Sam"):
r "Yes, I wish the old wench
( would kick her out, too. I want to
plant my cotton!"

5 UGH! CALOMEL MAKES
YOU DEATHLY SICK.
r
Stop Using Dangerous Drug Before
It Salivates You! It's
Horrible!
- You're bilious, sluggish, consti.
pated and believe you need vile,
dangerous calomel to start your liver
? and clean your bowels.
l Here's my guarantee! Ask your
, druggist for a 50 cent bottle of Dodt
3on's Liver Tone and take a spoonful
tonight. If it doesn't start your
liver and straighten you right up
better than calomel and without
' griping or making you sick I want
you to go back to the store and get
t your money.
3 Take calomel today and tomorrow
you will feel weak and sick and
nauseated. Don't lose a day's work.
Take a spoonful of harmless, veget'
able Dodson's Liver Tone tonight
? and wake up feeling great. It's perfectly
harmless, so give it to your
r children any time. It can't salivate,
so let them eat anything afterwards.
