Death of Mr T Logan Scott.
Mr T Logan Scott, whose illness
at Georgetown was announced in
these columns last week, died at
11:30 o'clock Sunday night. The
body was brought here on train No
80 Monday morning and interment
made in the Williamsburg cemetery
that afternoon from the home of
the deceased's sister, Mrs M L Allen.
Mr Soott is survived by his wife,
who is now convalescing at an infirmary
in Charleston and has not
yet learned of her husband's death.
He was a son of the late Judge S
McB Scott and a brother of Mesdames
Jno F McFaddin and M L Allen and
Messrs W R and J F Scott.
Children may not be so diplomatic
but most of them are too wise to
tell their parents what they think of
them.

Leo,December 14:?Wedding bells
have begun to ring around Lee of
late. Sunday morning Mr Eddie
Gaskins and Miss Lillian Prosser
were happily married. The ceremony
was performed at the home of
Mr W W Burrows.
Mr Seldon Powell and Miss Mollie
Tilton, both of Leo, were united in
the holy bonds of wedlock by Notary
Public W W Burrows last week.

R L Carter left for Elliott's. Mrs
Carter spent a few days with her
father's family, while Mr Carter attended
the grand lodge of the Masons
in Charleston. They returned
home Wednesday evening and reported
a very pleasant time.
Mr Billie Cockfield of Johnsonville,
in company with the Prospect
teachers, went over to Florence Saturday
in Miss Pate's auto.
Prospect school gave a box party
last Friday evening, which netted a
nice little sum for the benefit of the
school.
Mr E T Gaskins of Indiantown
had business at Leo one day last
week. We were glad to see Mr Gaskins,
who looks to be improving in
health again.
Mr W M Melton of Leo had a case
of mumps a few days ago, but we
are glad to report that he is able to
be out again.
Dr E L St Clair of Glenville, Ga,
preached a fine sermon at Little Star
church last Tuesday evening:.
Rev J B Oliver has moved from
Leo to Georgetown county. Hope
he will meet with much success in
his new field of work.
Mrs A A Brown and daughter,
Miss Alberta, visited friends in Florence
county Friday evening.
Mr W B McCants was noted at
Leo one day this week.
What has become of Mr J J Faddy?
Guess he is off on a deer drive.
We hear that he is building a neat
little cottage near Andrews.
Miss Letha Edwards, a teacher in
the Brown school, is arranging to
give the children a Christmas play
Friday evening, December 18.
Mr James Daniel of Hanna was
noted at Leo Saturday on business.
