WILLIAMSBURG FAIR ASSOCIATION WILL HOLD FIRST EXHIBITION OCTOBER 20-23 -REPORTS FROM COMMITTEES. The Williamsburg County Fair association will stage its first fair October 20-23. Reports from the; several committeemen throughout j the county are enthusiastic, and all I indications lead us to believe that we are going to have a first class j exhibit. The Pemium List is now in the hands of the printer aud will sent to all parts of the county this week. From this you can learn how varied i ?- "vUiKifd wo Kano tn have. I ttJ C II1C CAU1U1U9 t* V liVf/v ?v . Every one is urged to enter some- j thing for the Fair. Amusement features have been provided and the Fair will furnish: pleasure and profit to all who at-j tend. Thursday of Fair week will be School Day. The school children of the county will be here in a body,; and an interesting parade, in which will be floats representing historical; events in the county and State, will be the feature of the day. The association has purchased an j admirable site for Fair grounds and I the work of getting grounds and buildings ready for the opening is being pushed. For $10.00 a life membership can be secured. This membership entitles the holder to all of the privileges of the grounds and also pro-! vides free admission for one lady.' An annual membership may be ob-1 tained for $2.00. The association just now is at some expense and it is hoped that the executive committee will secure as many memberships as possible, and ! each member is requested and urged to do all that he can. About $1,500 ? has been subscribed and about $500 collected to date. If you have subscribed for a membership, life or annual, you will do the Association a kindness if you will see the committeeman in your community and let him send in your check.
