The programme was very much aj>preciated
by the friends and patrons
of the school. The teacher. Miss
Ethel Sybt, deserves praise for everything
being carried out so nicely.

The crops in this section are looking
fine and we anticipate one of the
greatest tobacco crops ever made in
this locality.
It seems that the matter cannot
be settled which one of the two gentlemen?Mr
W 0 Godwin or Mr
Reuben Sarvis?will talk most to
Miss , one of the U H S
teachers. Go it, boys, she will soon
return home and whom will you talk
to then? Swamp Fox.

A New Back for an Old One. How It
Can be Done lo Kingstree.
The back aches at times with a
dull, indescribable feeling, making
you weary and restless; piercing pains
shoot across the region of the kidneys,
and again the loins are so lame
that to stoop is agony. No use to
rib or apply a plaster to the back
if ths kidneys are weak. You cannot
reach the cause. Kingstree
residents would do well to profit by1
the following example.
Mrs Jasper Martin, 3 Wood St,
Georgetown, S G, says; "My back
was so weak and lame that I could
hardly get around to do my housework
and I suffered all the time,
\ from backache and pains across my
kidneys. I had little strength or
energy and the kidney secretions
were unnatural. Hearing about
Doan's Kidney Pills, I got a supply
and they cured me. 1 have had no
need of a kidney medicine since.
You are welcome to continue the
publication of my former endorsement
of Doan's Kidney Pills."
Price 50c, at all dealers. Don't
