D J McElveen of Cades and J H
Henderson of Mayesville chatted
pleasantly with us here on Monday.
Mr Henderson is collecting for a
livery firm of Mayesville,which conducted
a branch at Cades for a
short time during the first of this
year.
Mr Charlie M Cook, of the Pergamos
section, was noted in our
midst Sunday. Seems to be some
attraction. Come again, Mr Cook.
Mr N R Williamson and children, J
of Hebron community,spent a pleas-1
ant while here Sunday with rela-1
tives.
Regular services by the pastor,
Rev J M Baxley of Lake City, were
conducted at White Oak school
house Sunday morning at 11 o'clock,
with a fair attendance.
