BRIEF BITS FROM BETHEL. Walker-Ross Marriage?Personal and Local Hems of Interest. Bethel, October 20:?We are glad to know that the sick folk around here are improving:. Messrs G W Burgess. W H McJSUveen, T B Cooper and R L Burgess visited Kingstree Saturday. Mrs J M R( dgers and children of Nesmiths, who have been visiting the former's parents, Mr and Mrs T B Cooper, returned home last week. Miss Lucile Ross and Mrs ? Landen of Rimini attended the marriage of their brother and uncle, respectively, Mr David Ross, last Wednesday afternoon. We noticed in last week's Record where Hebron gave Mouzon's ball players such a rap about their poor playing. We hope if the Mouzon boys need anyone to teach them before next ball season they will call on more competent teachers than Hebron. As for the Mouzon boys being scared, we have never known them to be so excited as to be whipped and we can't account for it, unh ss it was that they got < scared at the sight of the team that I they were playing. We hope Hebron will scrape up enough courage to face Mouzun's on their own diamond, as they have always failed to come when they were challenged, and, Hebron, before you make .an-j other attempt to write about! Mouzon's, be sure to practice spell-; ing instead of playing ball. On Wednesday afternoon, October 15, at 2:30 o'clock, Mis?
