Obituary
Mrs Aletha Calder, wife of Mr

whom, with her husband, are left to
mourn their loss. Following are the
surviving children: Messrs Ansel,
Alfred, Nicholas, and one daughter,
Mrs Drueilla Gray. Mrs Calder was
a loving wife and mother.
The writer visited her often during
the last six years of her life and
often asked: "Mother, you are get-1
ting old; your days at best are but
few; how about the hereafter?" Her
reply was: "All is well with me."
The last ;ime I visited her before
her death she told me that she did !
not have many more days here, then
all would be well. Now she is gone
to the Great Beyond, sleeping in Jesus.
Her request two years ago was
that when she died she wanted to be
buried at Hebron church cemetery,
of which church she had been a
member for many long years. Her
remains now lie there, awaiting the
resurrection morn. The funeral
serv ees were conducted bv her pastor,
Rev J L Mullinix, on Wednesday.
