Byers of Columbia, convicted
at the 1912 fall term of court before
Judge Gage of assault and battery
with intent to kill and sentenced
to four months or $150 fine, during
arood behavior and upon the further
condition that he refrain from the
use of whiskey, beer or other intoxicating
liquors. Should he drink
whiskey, beer or other intoxicating
liquors or engage in any altercation,
difficulty or fight he shall be arrested
and recommitted to the public
works to serve the remainder of the
ibove sentence.
