I carefully avoid bowel disturbances, 1 <
as much serious disease is directly I <

To regulate the bowels and quickly j *
relieve even the most aggravated r
case of constipation, the combination t
of simple laxative herbs with pepsin.
, i known as Dr Caldwell's Syrup Pep- v

who have ever used it. Unlike ca- N
, thartics and violent purgatives, Dr f
Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin acts gently j
on the stomach, liver and bowels, v

manner. It can be used with per- c

When surgeons operated upon
g
John Martiner at Chicago, Saturday
to learn what caused the "terrible *
pains in his stomach," they found
nineteen pocket knives, seventeen
nails, five knife blades, a dozen
screws and a silver dollar. Martin- c
|er, known to Chicagoans as the "tiu- r
! man tool chest," had swallowed the
J articles on wagers.
He is 36 years old and a laborer. ^
The operation was successful, and 1
the articles were mounted on a
board and placed on exhibition.
The surgeon said the articles had
; lodged in a corner of the stomach,
! an ulcer had formed and the patient [
i would have died with;n a month had
i not the operation been performed, j

A BUSY MINISTER.
Rev B K Trnluck Makes Every *

Some time since The Enterprise

anything, but this is poor econ>my,
for it retards development.
The Men Who Succeed
as heads of large enterprises are
men of great energy. Success today,
demands health. To ail is to
fail. It's utter folly for a man to
endure a weak, run-down, half alive
condition when Electric Bitters will
put him right on his feet in short
nrder. "Four bottles did me more
real good than any other medicine I
ever took,'! \prites Chas B Allen, Sylvania,
Ga. "After years of "uffering
with rheumatism, liver trouble,
stomach disorders and deranged kidneys.
I am again, thanks to Electric
Bitters, sound and well." Try them.
