For those who voted against me I have nothing but good will and wishes. Should Providence permit and I live, I will nevermore offer for this place but will be in politics again two years hence. Again let me thank the boys at Earls, which is my home poll. I got 87 out of 96 votes cast. Boys, you did your part for me. Yours respectfully, W S Camlin. Editor County Record:? Kindly allow me space in your paper to thank most sincerely my friends who stood 30 nobly by me in the recent election. I wish I could write them all personal letters, assuring them that their support is appreciated just as much as if the :ounty executive committee had not,by a vote of 7 to 5, declared me defeated. Some of you have asked me to refer the questionable vote to the State executive committee. After serious consideration I have decided not to do so, as it would be so easy a matter for my political enemies to :onfuse the situation, and possibly to my hurt.
