The regular monthly meeting of ie Williamsburg County Medical ociety was held Wednesday, Decemer 20, at 2 p. m. at the Bank of iingstree's office. Those present ere: Drs W G Gamble, E T Kelley, D Scott, C D Jacobs, W D Rich, E 0 aylor, W V Brockington and Jno C eckman. Dr W L Wallace, the president, eing indisposed and confined to his Dom, Dr Beckman, the secretarvreasurer, acted as president pro tem. It was decided at the meeting to xtend an invitation to all licensed ractitioners throughout the county j become members for mutual benfit and to urge strict attendance at II meetings. The Journal of the outh Carolina Medical Association ill be sent to all members; this investing paper containing an epitme of the American Journals, will nd ready acceptance in this county. Dr Jacobs was appointed delegate ) the State medical meeting in pril and Dr Brockington,alternate. Censors for the county society are 3 follows: Dr Scott, 1 year; Dr Gamble, 2 ears; Dr Taylor, 3 years. Dr Kelley read a paper full of invest to medical men and did himilf credit; the paper will be pubshed in the State Medical Journal.
