Messrs Lowell McKlveen and Frasier
Yarborough of Timmonsville
have been 'visiting friends and relatives
in this vicinity the past week.
Mr and Mrs V D Harper and Miss
Bessie Prevatt spent a very pleasant
day with relatives at this place last
Sunday.
Messrs J E and F E Johnson, and
the little daughter of the latter,
spent a few days at Georgetown last
week.
Some of the neighborhood folk at*
fended the sale at the little town of
Henry on the ^8th ult. On account
of the weather, the sales were somewhat
checked, but we hear that they
they will be given another trial in a
few weeks.
The sale that was to be held at
Nesmith on the 14th inst has been
postponed until some time in March.
We wish all these new towns much
success. We hope some day to see
one broad street running down the
Marion Branch railroad connecting
all these thriving towns. Strantrer
things have happened.
