Registration Notice.
Notice is hereby given that the books ;
of registration for the Town of Kingstree.
S C. are now open in the office of
the Kingstree Hardware Company on
Academy street of said town, for the
registration of all voters and qualified
electors within the limits of said town .
of Kingstree, S C. who. under the laws
of the State, have the right to become
qualified voters for the Municipal Elections
to be held within the limits of said
town of Kingstree on the 26th day of I
September. 1911.
All applicants for such municipal reg-;
istration must, when applying for a certificate
of registration, present his cer- j
tificate of registration from the Board
of Supervisors of Registration of the
county, and must offer proof of his res- j
, idence within the limits of the town for :
four months and the payment of all
taxes assessed against him due and collectible
for the previous fiscal year.

held at Kingstree, S.C, on Tuesdav.Sep- ,

follows: Mayor, $2.00; Alderman. $1.00. j
All candidate? must pay this assessment;
to Louis .J Stackley.Treasurer. not later
than Monday. September 11. 1 v?! t. at
noon.
Every candidate for Mayor or Aider- ;
man is also required to sign a pledge to |
abide by the result of the election and
support the nominees. This pledge shall
be filed with the Chairman not later;
than Monday. September 11. 1911. at'
noon.
No votes will be counted for any can- !
didate who has not paid his assessment
and'filed hispledge as above required.

Election Notice.
A primary election is hereby ordered
to be held on Tuesday. September 12.
1911.to elect a Mayor and six Aldermen
for the town of Kingstree. Managers ,
of election shall open the polls at 8
o'clock a. m. and close same at -I p. m.
The Executive Committee will meet
on Thursday after the election in the
court house at 12 o'clock m. to tabulate
the votes and declare the result of the
election.
The following managers have been!
appointed to conduct the primary eiec-1
