The Dateless Calendar
of Eternity.
Before this paper goes to press again another .
year will have been inscribed upon the dateless
calendar of Eternity?another milestone upon the
great highway of time will have been passed.
How thankful we all should feel that we have
been spared to see the passing of another year and
that things have been as well with us as they have . i
been, for they could have been worse even with
the most unfortunate of us.
At these passings of the years what a sad,
melancholy feeling comes into the hearts of many
of us. We are reminded that we are silently but
surely drifting upon the great expanse of the
ocean of time as the years glide by. Soon we \
. shall hear the distant roar of the breakers beating '
upon the rock-bound shores, and our boat shall be
crossing the bar, where in the final harbor we
shall "meet our Pilot face to face".
We oft have wondered how many people all
over this great country go out alone into the silent
night and there upon bended knees imagine they
can hear the great bells of eternity ringing out
the old and ringing in the new and then ask for
wisdom to guide them midst the cares, ups and

wonder! Oh, we wonder!
In closing our thought on the passing years,
we want to extend our humble thanks to our many
friends and patrons for the splendid patronage
they have given us and the confidence they *have
reposed in us, and, asking for a continuance of
that confidence and support, we promise to put
forth our best efforts to serve them faithfully and
helpfully in the future.
Wishing happiness and prosperity to all, we are
