will be pleased to know that she has
returned from Charleston much improved
after a serious operation.

Hemingway and W C Rogers
are home for the holidays from the
State Medical College, Charleston.
Dr A M Snider will spend a part
of the holidays on a big duck hunt
in Colleton county, whither he goes

to her home in Baltimore.

moved to the WigWtman Epps place
near town and will reside there the
ensuing year.
Miss Mary Gordon of Winthrop
College and Mrs S K Brockington of
Florence were called home on account
of the illness of their mother,

Dr and Mrs W L Taylor and their
son will leave this evening for Greelyville,
where they will spend the !
Christmas holidays, returning about

Prof George McCutchen, of the
State university, Columbia, accompanied

with relatives in Kingstree and Indiantown.
Mr and Mrs Dave Silverman of
Atlanta, Ga, visited in town several
days this week. Mrs Silverman,
formerly Mrs Sadie Eron, has many
friends here to whom her visits are
ever welcome
Mr R C Brockinton of Rion, N C,
with his bride, are guests of the Kel
lahan Hotel. Mr lirockinton is a 101mer
resident of Williamsburg county
and has a number of relatives
and friends here.
Mr and Mrs Morris Meadors and
child are visiting the family of the
former's father, Presiding Elder
Meadors. Mr Meadors is principal
of the high school at Summerton, in
Clarendon county.

of the Methodist church last Sunday
evening. Dr Beatty was on a visit

Conference was transferred from the
