Jr, of the People's Bank, in char pre. Early last Friday morning two young gentlemen left Scran ton ostensibly on a business mission into the country. They took a westerly direction and their movements aroused no curiosity or suspicion until later in the day when a wireless message was received stating that they had reversed their course an i were gravitating toward the | vicinity of Prospect in quest of the "happy hunting grounds" of that section where "dears" were report-1 ed to be numerous. This was the ' last tidings from them until the afternoon of the following day when th *y returned to Scranton. Their appearance set many to surmising as to the result of their trip. Some I ih >ught the young men had been victims of "hayes-ing"; others seem to think they had been in the hands < 1 the "good sheppard," as they ap-, j-eared to be happy and at peace with all the world. But still others, more skeptical, were of the opinion that there was another phase of the situation, which seemed to indicate that the "mills of the gods grind slowly but exceedingly tine." Only time will reveal the true story.
