on Monday, it was voted best to
postpone the election of officers, elders
and deacons till most of these
might have opportunity to be present;
therefore the commission adjourned
till the morning of the second
Sunday in November, when, if
the way be clear, officers will be
elected,ordained and installed. The
name selected and given to the new
church,as soon as organized, is "McGill
Memorial," in memory of Dr
McGill, deceased, a large number of
whose descendants are charter members.
Mrs Ellen Foxworth, a daughter
of Dr McGill, deserves praise, no
iloubt along with others.yet especially,for
diligent and untiring work resulting
in the location and completion
of the handsome church building
now ready for this new organization.
This new enterprise has been
fostered by Kev Mr Bridgman and
will be under his ministerial charge.
The church is about four miles from
