Mi Nesmith, May 2:?On Wednesday H evening, April 27, the writer was Hi present at a beautiful marriage at Hi Union church, near Rome postoffice, H the contracting parties .being Miss Sadie Waldron and Capt Joseph H S Richardson. The time appointed for B, ceremony was 8 o'clock p m,but M owing to the inclement weather the B' bridal party was somewhat delayed, I and when they, arrived they found! wWe church very nearly filled with1 Bj^^ctators eagerly awaiting the inHfflj >ting event. MUM e wedding march was very Aifully rendered on the organ Miss Fair and the bridal K party entered in the following ordei: I Mr F L Eaddy with Miss Minnie ( Marshall; Mr Robert Waldron with i Miss Annie Richardson; Mr L E Creel with Miss Fannie Marshall and Mr Craven with Miss Pearl Eaddy. \ Little Miss Isla Cooper, a niece of the bride, was ring bearer. The groom came in with Mr Van Harpt r as best man, while the bride entered with her sister, Miss Ida Waldron, the maid yf honor. The ceremony was performed by the Rev T J Clyde. Messrs Sam Waldron and Charlie Creel were the ushers. Immediately after the ceremony: the bridal party, along with quite a number of friends, repaired to the Lhome of Mr Joseph W Waldron of Rhems, a brother of the bride, where refreshments were served. J&ing a "mere ipan" it is uherly impossible for the writer to even attempt to describe the costumes of bride and bridesmaid. Suffice y say that they were both very ' tastily and becomingly attired. j Quite a number of valuable and useful presents were received, which v attest the popularity of the happy young couple. Mrs Richardson, as "Miss Sadie," has a large circle of friends, while Capt Richardson is a young man of * many fine qualities, with a host of friends who wish for him and his young bride all the joy and pleasure of a long and happy wedded life.
